From the Heart of the Alps to Chamonix — we invite you to join us on a journey that begins among winding mountain roads and ends beneath the golden glow of an alpine sunset.
The film opens with glimpses of our return from the Mer de Glace glacier. We drive peacefully through forested valleys, past rocky slopes and the charming Tunnel des Chavannes — a small but atmospheric passage that captures the spirit of alpine travel, where each curve beckons us to pause and take in the view.
This isn’t a full chronicle of the route, more a few minutes of frozen memories. As we arrive in Chamonix, the pace softens. Evening spreads gently across the town’s lantern-lit streets. We walk slowly, soaking in the atmosphere of this place where everything smells of tranquility, mountain air, and that lovely tiredness at the end of an unforgettable day.
We pause for a bite — maybe something warm, maybe a local treat that always tastes better when served with a mountain view. And then... the moment that stays with us.
A golden sunset over the towering Alps. The peaks glow with honey and copper tones, the sky grows quiet, and we find ourselves standing there, wrapped in a silence that speaks louder than words.
