Hello everyone, this is a project that I have been wanting to do for years. Since I've been in Simracing, from 2009 until now I haven't seen anything similar. Also the fact that there are domestic 3D printers has made my job much easier. The few dashboards I've seen commercial are expensive and very simple. I wanted to integrate a wind simulator with a screen in a console with a symmetrical centre. I have seen many DIY Dashboards made from an original Dashboard of an old BMW e36 or a Subaru impreza, for two reasons I think that these parts have to be in a car and not in a simulator. The first because I'm a great car lover, and someone may be looking for one of those Dashboards to restore one of those cars. The second, is because if you are like me in the 3 or 4 main simulators... assetto corsa, rf2, iracing, Automobilista or dirt rally... we drive different types of cars, from a gt3 to a formula, rally car or lmp1. It doesn't make much sense to have an asymmetric Dashboard of a BMW e36 and be driving an lmp1 or a formula. Do not take into account the paint finishes of the photos because I am very bad at painting even with spray or the old fanatec v2.5 base that I will soon change for a direct drive. If you do it just a little better, the finish will be very good. The paint used is textured matte black, a paint that is used for the defences of some cars and that gives that rough and brightness-free appearance similar to that of the Dashboard of the World Rally Cars. The project is for people who have a small bed 3D printer 220x220x270 and a Simlab type simulator with 600mm between 40x120 columns. I have included in the STL files some separators designed to increase 10mm on each side of your simulator if you do not have these measures or if you have a 40x80 column with a 120 to 80 adaptor and you do not want to buy the aluminum plates that are sold on the German Motedis page that has the link in the PDF of the project. Print position, parameters, material and assembly are explained in the PDF that has the STL files. I estimate that the cost of the project will be about €500 between PLA, screen, electrical components and fans and more than 450 hours of printing. This is one of the reasons why I sell the files and do not embark on marketing the finished product. The files are already in Cults3D to buy.
