Quite a few people find themselves choosing between the Cotic Jeht 140mm all rounder trail bike, and the shorter travel Downcountry style FlareMAX. Cotic Founder and designer Cy regularly rides a FlareMAX at the moment, but with Ard Rock coming up, he's been back on a Jeht for a few rides to get used to having something with a little more travel before the race. After a particularly lovely day out in the woods near Ladybower on Sunday, he recorded some thoughts about the Jeht vs the FlareMAX.
