I am nearing 74 and when I listen to what many young harmonica players put on YouTube I become a little sad, so much of the same, so much of the uninspiring and so very little of the true blues. I worked hard on getting my sound, I still work hard on it, sometimes it works, sometimes not, but the kick, the magic, the healing power of true blue notes, greatly amplified, is something for which I have no alternative.
