Wow, yeah I was not expecting to get that emotional in this video. (I even cut out a lot of it). That just sealed the deal for me. Comfortably Numb has the best guitar solo of all time in my opinion. It made me a mess in the video, lol. But yeah, Disc 2 was amazing. It continued the story of Pink extremely well and each song continued to tell pieces of the story. I really thought that Roger shined on this album, and his vocals were just on another level. He has a unique style to his singing that I haven't really heard anyone else use. I thought it was interesting how Disc 2 turned more theatrical, and there was way more strings and horns, especially on The Trial, I thought the instrumentation on that track was unlike anything I've heard. The guitar was still there at the same time, being fantastic as usual. And I noticed that there were some elements in some of these songs from previous albums, like for example during the first half of the second disc I thought there was some Meddle influence in there. The whole album was just an emotional rollercoaster. I'm sad that it's over, but I still have The Final Cut and A Momentary Lapse of Reason next, along with Roger's and David's solo discographies.
Thanks for watching!
By the way, I have a discord server if anyone ever wants to join and ever talk about music or just anything really.
