I wrote this song after hearing a best friend of mine share her incredible story about being in the darkest of places but coming out the other side. Her faith grew and she got the right help. There are so many people in this world that are hurting. This song is for those people, for the people that love them that are watching them suffer but don't know how to help, and for anyone that just knows what it feels like to be hurting. I hope this song will bring you some light and comfort.
I sang this at a worship sing and it was the first time I ever shared this song and the reason it exists with the public. It was emotional and hard to get through but its real and raw which is why I decided to share this version.
