Details about installing oil catch can on my 2005 Sl55 AMG. Basic idea should apply to most oil catch can install.
I bought the oil catch can on Amazon for around $25. Similar looking ones can be found on eBay.
After installing I hooked up vacuum gauge to crank car inlet and measured 10 cm hg vacuum at idle. I don't know how that compares to factory spec but it does system hold negative pressure in the crankcase.
The hose to hose plastic connector from MB that fits 3/8 or 10 mm is PN 1179901578. These work great for splicing hose sections.
