🚗 Route & Distance: Join us on an exciting journey from Hinjewadi Phase 2, Pune, to the historic Sinhagad Fort! The distance is approximately 48 Km, and on the way we stopped at Khadakwasla dam and backwaters. The route is scenic, passing through lush green landscapes and winding roads that lead you to one of Maharashtra's most iconic forts.

⏰ Best Time to Visit: Start early in the morning to avoid traffic and enjoy the cool breeze. Sunset visits are equally mesmerizing, offering breathtaking views of the Sahyadri ranges. Timings: 6 AM to 6 PM. Entry fee of Rs 50 for two wheelers, Rs 100 for 4 wheelers and Rs 500 for nuisance creators.

🏰 History of Sinhagad Fort: Sinhagad Fort, formerly known as Kondhana, holds a significant place in Indian history. It was the site of the legendary Battle of Sinhagad in 1670, where Tanaji Malusare, a Maratha warrior, fought bravely to reclaim the fort from the Mughals. The fort's name, Sinhagad (Lion's Fort), was given in his honor. Explore the ancient gates, memorials, and ruins that tell tales of valor and resilience.
