In 2024, Rinpoche continues his commentary on, the “Treasury of Precious Qualities: Book One: Sutra Teachings (Revised Edition) by Jigme Lingpa.” Each of the program’s two weekends consists of 5 teachings, online discussion groups with senior students, and meditation. This program will take place at Phuntsok Choling and also be available as a live stream.
Unlike most general Dharma programs, the MSB Shedra provides an opportunity to study in great depth the philosophy of Madhyamaka from both the Svatantrika and Prasangika perspectives. The word shedra refers to a traditional monastic college of higher learning, with a course of study lasting from ten to thirteen years.
This is a public program and all are welcome to attend the Shedra program with Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche. There are no pre-requisites. Senior students and newer students alike attend this program.
