Miguel Harth – Bedoya dirigió por primera vez en público la Philharmonic Orchestra of Lima Peru en enero de 1996, mientras vivía en Estados Unidos de Norteamérica trabajando para la Orquesta Filarmónica de New York y como Director de la New York Youth Symphony del Carnegie Hall.
Nacido en Lima en 1968, es fundador y director de la Compañía Contemporánea de Opera, entre otras importantes instituciones culturales y musicales, tanto en Lima como en el extranjero. Ha sido invitado como director en diferentes países y sus más recientes presentaciones incluyen conciertos con la Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra en Indiana (USA), la Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires en Argentina, la Dianopolis Chamber Orchestra de Bulgaria, la Budapest Opera Orchestra, la Auckland Philarmonia Orchestra en Nueva Zelandia, la Orquesta Sinfónica de Puerto Rico (USA) y las Orquestas Sinfónicas de México y Québec en Canadá.
Ha dirigido igualmente la Orquesta de Juilliard de Nueva York en su tour a Francia (1993) y Japón (1995), colaborando con distinguidos solistas como Mstislav Rostropovich, Isaac Stern, Gary Graffman, Misha Dichter, David Shiffrin y Joshua Bell.
Miguel Harth – Bedoya posee los grados de Bachiller en Dirección del Curtis Institute of Music de Filadelfia y de Master en Dirección de la Juilliard School en Nueva York, en donde también es miembro de la Facultad de Dirección Musical. Actualmente es Director de la Eugene Symphony Orchestra de Oregon (USA).
La Philharmonic Orchestra of Lima Peru, bajo la dirección del maestro Miguel Harth – Bedoya, fue convocada a acompañar al tenor Plácido Domingo en su concierto ofrecido en Lima, en setiembre de 1994.

Miguel Harth - Bedoya conducted for the first time in public Philharmonic Orchestra of Lima Peru (Orquesta Filarmónica de Lima) in January 1996, while living in the United States working for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and as Director of the New York Youth Symphony at Carnegie Hall.
He was born in Lima in 1968, is founder and director of the Contemporary Opera Company, among other important cultural and musical institutions, both in Lima and abroad. He has been guest director in different countries and his most recent performances include concerts with Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra in Indiana (USA), the Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires in Argentina, Dianopolis Chamber Orchestra of Bulgaria, Budapest Opera Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra in New Zealand, Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra (USA), and the Symphony Orchestra of Mexico, and Quebec in Canada.
He has also conducted the Juilliard Orchestra in New York on his tour to France (1993) and Japan (1995), working with distinguished soloists such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Isaac Stern, Gary Graffman, Misha Dichter, David Shiffrin and Joshua Bell.
Miguel Harth - Bedoya has the degrees of Bachelor in Management of Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and Master in Management of the Juilliard School in New York, where he also is a member of the Faculty of Musical Direction. He is currently Director of Eugene Symphony Orchestra in Oregon (USA).
Philharmonic Orchestra of Lima Peru, under the direction of maestro Miguel Harth - Bedoya, was summoned to accompany the tenor Placido Domingo in his concert in Lima, on September 1994.
