A quick test of various LS camshaft position sensors. Factory vs. dealership vs. Amazon bought sensors. We can quantity the resistance value through the different sensors and then troubleshoot and deduce why a particular sensor may or may not work with the Terminator X max ecu. The engine ran with the old sensor but did not run with the Amazon bought sensor & also the number 7 LED on the X-max was red, indicating camshaft sensor failure. My hunch is that the resistance was out of range (to high) on the Amazon bought sensor. Thus, the engine would not run. Terminator X max ecu's are very sensitive to specific resistance ranges on the sensors for the ecu to function correctly. Hopefully the dealership purchased can sensor will do the trick as the resistance reading was a couple points below the factory unit.
