Major infiltration bid was foiled in Baramulla as security forces eliminated two terrorists during an intense exchange of fire on April 23. According to Indian Army Large quantities weapons, ammunition and war-like stores were recovered, and the operation remains underway. The recent development follows the deadly attack, which targeted tourists in the Pahalgam area in Kashmir on April 22. Security has been beefed in the entire region of Jammu and Kashmir and search operation continues. Earlier this morning, PM Modi arrived in the national capital, cutting short his state visit to Saudi Arabia, following the terrorist attack.
