Now let's get into it. The production team went CRAZY on dirtying a pair of the Satin Bred Jordan 1's for Steve to clean up. How many more pairs do you think we can dirty like this before we stump him or get in trouble 🤔

For this Shoe Care Academy episode Steve took on an extremely muddy pair of the Satin Bred Jordan 1's with the Ultimate Shoe Cleaning Kit. Plus PSA this kit is just had a price drop of over $40!! To kicks this off Steve took the shoe outside to bang off some mud and give the shoe a proper dry brush before applying water to the materials. There was a lot of dirt on the shoe and getting it wet right away would have been a complete DISASTER!

Once you could actually see the shoe again.. It was time for the light pretreatment using the Soft Bristle Brush on the entire upper. The Soft Bristle Brush works well to tackle delicate materials since it is a softer texture and it creates the most bubbles to remove any left over dust, grease, mud, and whatever else we might have left for Mr. Reshoevn8r.

Once the upper was looking clean it was time to take care of the midsole and outsole using the Medium and Stiff Brushes. These two brushes are perfect for removing trapped in rocks, mud and eyelashes apparently! After the pretreatment was completed it was time to head to the laundry room and take advantage of the Patented Laundry System. We washed these on a normal cycle with cold water in the Laundry Bag with a SINGLE Laundry Pod. Plus don't forget to leave the Shoe Tree inserted to hold the shape of the shoe.

This is your reminder that you CAN wear your shoes, because they can always be cleaned. Don't leave your kicks deadstock, put them on and live a little.
