Steam Excursions Episode 2 features footage shot in 2022 on one of my first railfanning chases, and it was very worthy of chasing! In August of that year, Reading and Northern pulled a double-header Iron Horse Ramble with their newly restored Reading T-1 class 4-8-4 number 2102 along with 4-6-2 pacific number 425. Episode 2 highlights 4 catches of the northbound journey from Reading Outer Station to Jim Thorpe. We also catch the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway backing through the wye at Jim Thorpe with R&N 270 and 275, the ex-Norfolk Southern executive F units.
