A quick video showing the removal and lubrication of a Seiko Diashock setting on a Seiko 6139-6002. The removal of the spring is relatively straight forward with the use of a piece of sharpened peg wood & tweezers. The jewel is then soaked in Epilame before adding the required amount of Moebius 9010 oil. The jewel is then reassembled before fitting , the spring is fitted by getting one of the corners in first then rotating whilst pushing the remaining spring corners downward.
This method is good to practice and easy to pick up.
