I was so excited to get my new paint, Rose Madder from Soho. I haven't tried this brand or paint color before. It's GEORGEOUS and worked well in the swipe. I haven't used it in any other technique but I am sure there will be many paintings to come using Rose Madder. I don't exactly know why but purple has been a theme for me lately. I have been on a purple kick and decided to do an all purple (or variations of it) in one piece. I think it is really pretty. The hints of gold that comes through from the Royal Purple was a surprise, a good one. I love the Royal Purple by Arteza.
I keep second guessing the boarder on this one. Should I have used another color? What do you think?

Swipe color is one part Oxide Black - Amsterdam to 3 parts Australian Floetrol

Pouring Medium is 70% American Floetrol to 30% water; then approximately 30% paint to PM.
