🇩🇪 C96 Broomhandle Mauser ( POV )

Hopefully the orientation issues I had on my last POV video have been remedied in this video


Today I have here my 1915 produced C96 Broomhandle Mauser

Put together by The Feederle brothers Fidel, Friedrich, and Josef with design oversight of Paul Mauser
During the 1890s together were able to iteratively develop a series of prototypes and designs that leading up until 1896 the C96 as we know it today was born

Chambered in 7.63×25mm Mauser and an internal box magazine capacity of 10 this was the first commercially successful self loading semi automatic pistol on the market
Which drew quite a lot of attention from the commercial market and world military’s of the time

Over 1 million units were manufactured by the Mauser company before production was concluded in the late 1930s

It has seen use in most theatres of conflict in the hands of many different people
( even some movie stars )

For its time it was a real innovative piece of firearms technology

Not quite as capable today but certainly not a slouch
