Footage of 2021 Prevost X3-45 1325 operating on the QM20 route between 26th Avenue & Corporal Kennedy Street. This is one of 82 units which will be delivered to College Point Depot, to replace the 2005-2007 MCI D4500CLs and 2002 MCI D4500s.
These new 2021 Prevost have a similar interior to the earlier models, with some notable differences. One of the first things is the screens which show stops and geographic location of the bus on a map. Another visible change which is a benefit for riders is the location of the USB, which is located in the seat ahead of them. Other Prevost models have the USB chargers on top, near the stop request button. These buses also have seatbelts.
The QM20 route operates all day on weekdays, between Bay Terrace in Queens and Midtown Manhattan via 6th Avenue. This route serves some areas and neighborhoods further inland which the QM2 does not serve, north of the LIRR. In Queens buses serve Bay Terrace, Clearview, Whitestone, Broadway, Linden Hill, Mitchell Gardens, and Flushing. Weekend service in Mitchell Gardens is served by the QM2 bus.
