In this project, we are automating a warehouse.
Setup: Entry Conveyor, Loading Crane, Storage Racks, Unloading Crane, and Exit Conveyor.
The aim of the project is to place the incoming items in the available slots in the storage racks. Along with this, users can select the item they want to unload. We also have an HMI which will display the real-time status of storage racks.
The system is programmed with S7 1500 PLC using TIA Portal.
I have used 3 different languages together for various parts of logic.
1) Ladder Logic: For main control
2) GRAPH: For sequential control
3) SCL: For Arrays manipulation
To improve efficiency, I have used User Defined Data types. FBs, FCs, and arrays.
