Hi everyone,
This is just a quick video to share my journey of rebuilding my first bike.
The story started in 2017 when I purchased the bike. I made a huge mistake by not checking the condition before making a deal. As you can see in the video, it was in a really bad shape. The previous owner lived on the seaside so rust and corrosion took over. Also it had 7 previous owner and the bike was pretty neglected as well as taken off the road for a couple of years. Despite the damage, I decided to give the bike another chance. It was not really the most feasible option but I learnt a lot about my bike(and bikes in general).
It took me about 2 years of weekend tinkering and I had lots of ups and downs loosing interest multiple times during the build. When that happened I always watched a bike restoration project here on the Tube. So I hope this video is going to be inspirational for someone who's in the middle of a project or just about to start one.
