FULL: Dizon nilatag kung bakit mahalagang maibalik ang P45B sa 2026 budget ng DPWH | ABS-CBN News

Ipinaliwanag ni DPWH Sec. Dizon kung bakit sinusubukan nilang hikayatin ang Kongreso na maibalik ang mahigit P45 bilyon sa budget ng kagawaran para sa 2026.
Ayon kay Dizon, tila nagkamali ang Senado sa komputasyon nito matapos tapyasin ang pondo ng mahigit 10,000 proyekto sa bansa. Hinikayat ni Dizon ang bicameral committee para sa 2026 budget na ibalik ang P45 bilyon at bigyan sila ng pagkakataon na pag-aralan at tugunan ang isyu ng overpriced materials.
Dagdag pa rito, tinalakay din ang maaaring maging epekto sa ekonomiya kung liliit ang pondo ng mga mahahalagang proyekto sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Bong Lazaro, convenor of the Justice for Missing Sabungeros Network, said the case of the missing sabungeros is “not a simple murder case”, with more than 100 people allegedly killed and a case that spanned at least 8 PNP chiefs.
