AMPP CIP-1 - Study Guide #1 - Standards to Memorize!

This is the 1st of many to come, Study Guide sessions for the AMPP - CIP Level 1 - Coating Inspector Certification Program.

In this video, I go over the different standards for abrasive blast cleaning steel, prior to priming/painting. The cleanliness (prep) of the steel substrate is vital to the performance and duration of the paint system to be applied.

Upon completing the AMPP CIP Level 1 course, you will be tested / graded on 3 items:
Final Multiple Choice Exam (150 - 200 questions)
It has been awhile since I took mine, plus with the merger, I am not 100% what has been adjusted or not.

The Log Book - you are given on day 1 (you MUST track your day to day activities in this log book).

Then Finally, the Hands-On Equipment-use portion of the exam. You show that you know how to properly utilize and verify calibration on several pieces of equipment. (Surface Profile, Surface Cleanliness, Dust, WFT, DFT, and more)
