Saya no Uta: Ending Theme | Shoes of Glass [Piano]

I finished the visual novel "The Song of Saya" a few days ago and honestly can't get either the novel or this song out of my head. It's a short but fantastic read by Gen Urobuchi, the same author of Fate/Zero and Madoka Magica — two other series that I love also with incredible storywriting complimented by an amazing soundtrack. I haven't done an original cover in a while and wasn't planning to at first, but seeing how few covers there are of this song on Youtube I guess I couldn't help but give it a shot :)

With the year coming to an end, looking back, I'm not sure how to feel about my overall progress with piano. I've just been trying a bunch of animenz arrangements (played like, almost 30 new ones this year? nothing but animenz lol), but comparing with my very first cover on this channel, it seems I haven't really developed all that much at all in terms of my own style. Turns out the only way to improve with that is first-hand experimenting, so hopefully this cover will be the beginning of a lot more.

Spent about a total of 4 hours today just playing around with this one. It's pretty straightforward overall; nothing really notable to point out (think most of the time was just spent trying to memorize it). I love the chorus of this song so much; probably spent half my practice time just playing all-out at 3:54 for fun.
