Manchester Airport is the largest airport outside of London and has two runways - 23R/05L and 23L/05R. Dual-runway operations are during the morning and evening rush hours and are based on seasonal requirements. The airport has 3 terminals and is served by excellent rail and road links. It's situated about 10 miles outside of Manchester City Centre.

Manchester Airport is very popular amongst the spotting community due to the varied locations around the airfield and the ease at which they can be reached. The most popular are the Runway Visitor Park and Southside. The Emirates A380 is always popular with the crowds and certainly draws the most attention.

Highlights include the Emirates Airbus A380, a Dreamliner 10 series and the gorgeous Airbus A330. We even get a few cheeky waves from the pilots as they pass by.
