With Kippers air in the fuel issue now fixed, the May bank Holidays gave us a chance to plan a sail and night out as a family onboard Kipper. So loaded up with fuel, food and two keen Labradors we made our way out of Neyland Marine Pembrokeshire into the Milford Haven. But before we had even settled in, disaster struck and we found ourselves in a dangerous situation. Rocketing along in a flooding tide we found ourselves without drive or steering being carried toward a bridge and other moored boats. A dire situation that could soon spell disaster for Kipper and the whole family. Using sails to buy us some time we had to call for help. Rescued and brought back safely, we must now find the problem. This vlog follows that adventure.
We would like to say a massive thanks to Matt and the team at Neyland Yacht Haven for coming to our rescue and bring us home safely.
