Let's catch the train| Venlo here we come
One of my hobbies is train travel. It's a lovely way to see the countryside, cities and towns, without having to worry about traffic, parking or fuel. JUst buy a ticket and let the machinist do the driving.
It's also fun to travel with a companion. I love traveling by train. I've traveled by train as a child, teenager and now adult ( a grey haired one at that).
The city we visited to day is Venlo. On the Dutch-German border. It's architecture, history, place in the world is lovely as it is unique. Hospitable, buzzing and within walking distance of Germany this city has lots to offer the visitor/ tourist.
Enjoy Venlo, in the province of Limburg with it's popular streets, boutiques and restaurants of plenty. Then wander down to the river and enjoy the boats, birds and terrace for a lovely wine or coffee if you prefer.
