Spencer the Sodor Engine: Part 1 ~ Smoky Spencer (NOT MADE FOR KIDS!!!!!!!)

Plot: Spencer was supposed to be on loan to the NWR to pull special rail-tours for the summer, but a few weeks later, everything came crashing down on him due to a blowback in his firebox and some bad news from the Duke & Duchess of Boxford themselves…

I cannot describe anything else to say other than I am so excited to finally reveal my OVA/Special for Great Sodor Engines: Spencer the Sodor Engine. The concept was inspired from when I was watching (you guessed it) Spencer’s Demotion which reminded me of Flying Scotsman’s situation during preservation life being passed onto three different private owners before being in the care of the National Railway Museum in 2004 onwards. However, while I enjoyed that story - there isn’t that much conflict within it, not even more of Spencer clashing with Gordon or any other character and the ending kinda ends on a questionable note leaving us to interpret what happens next. So I decided to make a saga of my own for how Spencer became an NWR member. Another influence for this arc is regarding the timeline of the TV Series universe - which is very different from the Railway Series - because when you consider the following, people don’t really grow in age in the remainder of the show, a few if not all I should say. So this begs the question that I don’t think anyone takes the time to figure - if the time period was to be set in the 21st century, then I don’t think the Duke & Duchess of Boxford would keep Spencer long enough possibly because of the huge cost of maintaining and owning an operating steam engine hence why (remember, my series takes place in the 2000s, so this saga takes place during S4 in 2007. And since I read what OVA means - consider it the ‘unofficial’ episodes 11-14). Also, I had made a few updates to the cast of a few characters is because since I left Twitter last year and a few users are on hiatus, I knew I had to recast a few to keep it going.
