DIY Drum Pad with a Beetle Percussion Floppy Pad

Hi,

I've always wanted to experiment with making my own drum pad but never really knew how to go about it. Well, I was finally able to piece something together and I put together this video to document this venture. I hope you enjoy and possibly get inspired to make your own drum pad as well.

A special shoutout to Beetle Percussion who had a hand in helping put this project together. If you're looking for a surface to use as a pad, I definitely recommend the 10" Beetle Floppy pad.

Here is a link to the Gorilla Glue that I used. I purchased a small tube but if you and your friends decide to make it a group project, they sell larger sized tubes.

Then, I got a Putty Spatula to help spread the glue around.

I do hope to make another pad soon. I think it'll come out even nicer now that I've gotten my feet wet with it. Let me know what you think!
