In this video, we make an eastbound journey on a refurbished London Underground Alsthom 1996 stock Jubilee Line train from Wembley Park to Baker Street.
The refurbishment is mainly a paint job of the interior handrails to match the Jubilee Line colour code on the tube map.
This branch used to be served by the Bakerloo Line before the Jubilee Line came into operation in the late 1970s. If you look carefully while travelling northbound on the Bakerloo Line towards Harrow & Wealdstone, it is possible to see the old branch as the train leaves Baker Street.
Although we run parallel with the Metropolitan Line all the way, we stop at all the intermediate stations which are Neasden, Dollis Hill, Willesden Green, Kilburn, West Hampstead, Finchley Road, Swiss Cottage and St John's Wood. On the Metropolitan Line, this journey would only be two stops instead of nine as it only serves Finchley Road.
