Changing the AC Compressor, Drier, Orifice Tube, and various AC o-rings on the Audi S6 v10. This procedure will be similar on the Audi S8 v10 as well.
Requires removing the motors mounts and radiator - including these in title.
You may or may not need to remove the heat exchanger and passenger side motor mount to remove the AC compressor. I was not aware the oil dipstick was so easy to remove - remove that first and see if the compressor comes out.
You will need an absolute ton of tools to complete this job. The unique tool I had to buy was a stubby M12 triple square socket. Needed it for the motor mounts. Highly recommend hose clamp pliers as well.
If you take off both motor mounts you will need two jacks: one to support the engine and one to support the subframe.
