This is essentially a trailer for an AU that Amber and I are currently working on. It’s a pretty niche corner of a certain fandom, but I wanted to post this anyway for the fun of it!

Plot:

David is a tow truck driver in the small town of Adirondack Valley. He has a 17-year-old daughter and had recently started dating again. Lately, he’s been struggling with lapses in memory and strange gut feelings when doing everyday things.

His doctor claims that these lapses in memory are a trauma response due to the loss of his wife. He accepts this explanation as he has no reason not to.

One day, a strange woman comes to town. One look and he can feel an immediate pull towards her, like gravity. Who is this woman? When she looks at him why does she look so…sad?

Days pass and memories start to rush back in — of another life, in another place — as another person.

Who is he really? Who is this woman?

Why does his presence in this town suddenly feel…wrong?
