In this beginner friendly sewing tutorial I teach you how to DIY upcycle an old shirt and transform it into a matching two piece set including a shirt and bralette with an accessory to match. I have also included a NO SEW option using fabric glue. This transformation was included in my tiktok viral thrift flip video that reached over 11 million views. I thrifted my medium shirt from a charity shop / thrift store and then refashioned it into this cute set. Upcycling is an important part of sustainable fashion as the ablity to refashion your clothing allows you to keep it for longer instead of buying something new so it’s a very useful skill to have.
