On 3/28/19, CSX train J900 west, which consisted of two locomotives and 53 empty pipe flatcars, ran from Trenton, IL, to East St. Louis, IL over the out-of-service CSX Illinois Subdivision which was once part of the B&O, and later, Chessie System. These cars had been stored in Aviston, IL, since April 2017, and were the last storage cars remaining between Shattuc and East St. Louis. As such, this train likely marks the final CSX movement until the line is reopened by CSX (unlikely), sold, leased, or abandoned. Note the hotbox detector is still functioning as normal at 2:48!
