Henderson Ferguson 35 Goldbelly Copperbelly 1950's, At Henderson's Belford Depot, Northumberland

This footage is the first I have posted to feature this lovely wee Ferguson 35 "Goldbelly" (some call it "Copperbelly") tractor, registration plate 010KS.

This tractor crops up in a few pieces of footage I have viewed. I know it was owned by George Henderson & Co of Kelso, because in some footage it has a Henderson's sign slung over its nose, which looks like it has been hastily made with a piece of cardboard and a marker pen!

The footage is from the mid to late 1950's, and we think it was shot at Henderson's Belford branch in Northumberland - the railway line in the background, and geography suggest this.

It looks like a demonstration of the "pipe laying/trench digging" implement on the back, laid on for potential buyers?

Is it electrical cable they are laying, or drainage?
Does anyone recognise any of the people in the video?

As you can imagine, the original footage from the 1950's was of a pretty low quality...however it was in colour!

The resolution was only 720 x 576, there was a lot of grain and noise, and the colour balance and contrast was very variable throughout.

After getting the original footage digitized, I have edited and enhanced it using modern software. I had to split in into several sections, denoise, sharpen, upscale and try and sort the colour contrast on each section.
