Who is the Chinese god of Thunder, Lei Gong? | 中國雷神雷公是誰？

Lei Gong, the Chinese god of Thunder has the unique role of creating thunder but not lightning. This may seem strange to a westerner but thunder itself has a physical tangible form in the ancient writings of Chinese Religion. A fairly non-historical mythical character, Lei Gong judges those who commit evil, specifically in secret. With a lot of pop-culture references, blue skin, bat wings, and some hilarious sitcom legends Lei Gong is both an extremely famous and seldom worshipped god. And that makes sense. He's normally worshipped when someone wants revenge or vengeance unlike many other gods. Christianity though has a different solution for vengeance, but it doesn't deny that one day all injustice will be avenged.
