How to design a knitted, seamless mitered square afghan, shawl, scarf, or baby blanket. Learn to make a simple garter-stitch mitered square and learn to join them together without seams to make any flat pattern in any size.
It's a 2 row repeat. Cast on an odd number of sts.
Row 1 (wrong side row): Knit, placing markers on either side of the central 3 sts.
Row 2: (RS) Knit to the first marker. Combine the center 3 sts into 1 st (you have a choice as to which dec to use.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until one st remains. Fasten off.
