From Unbelief to Belief - trusting and obeying God | Pst Benny Prasad | Sunday Gathering

In 2Kings 6:24 to 7:20, we see that a great famine had engulfed Samaria. In a matter of 24hrs, God said things would change but there was an officer who questioned this promise with unbelief.

Similarly, in our lives, unbelief hinders us from walking into God’s promises for the following reasons.

1. Unbelief says, “it’s a brand new thing, it cannot be true”.
We should always remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, his thoughts are greater than ours. Many times God’s ways goes against logic and it takes faith to venture into it. Are you willing to say yes to Jesus today?

2. Unbelief questions and challenges the accuracy of what God speaks.
We should remember not to allow our circumstances to define who god is. Trusting God’s voice and His word is of utmost importance.

3. Unbelief says, “there is only one way God can work”.
We should remember not to limit god as per our own limitations. Our dreams and ambitions does not have to be contained as per our limitations. God can do abundantly more than we can think or imagine.

4. Unbelief says, “it is impossible”.
We should remember that what’s impossible for man is possible for God. He can do miracles our understanding cannot fathom.
