The fight with Ultros can be a bit moderate in difficulty, but he is weak to fire and light-elemental attacks. So having spells like Firaja and Holy help a lot with Faith. The thing to be a bit on the safe side on HP is with Octentacle, which hits randomly eight times to the entire party. Just keep up the elemental weakness attacks and healing to top and the fight should be over quick.
