A level crossing at the entrance to Darthaven Marina at the bottom of the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway in the beautiful town of Kingswear, situated just across from Dartmouth and connected to it by two ferries. This level crossing lost is notable and iconic 'Forest City' halogen bulb wigwags in 2021, and it's now only of particular note for that it still has drive-up/drive-down 'GWE' barriers, the boom arms of which still seem original with metallic skirting, and its fast 'YA30' alarm. The whole of the crossing seems to be publicly accessible, including the bit away from the footpath towards the Marina's entrance, and there is a small coffee hut just behind the camera, which would've been really appealing on a nicer day.

Featured in this video is a rail-tour which had come down from Derby, and Kingswear seems to get a fair amount of mainline charter trains serving it as a destination along-side its steam services. This one was lead into Kingswear by a Class 45 'peak' diesel locomotive, which we would then see returning light at the next crossing along once the rain had stopped. This rain seemed to just follow us from Paignton, and the constant change in wind direction made it very hard to choose a spot to film from.
