Rach3 at Steinway B211

Sorry lots of postings on this rach lately lol. Friend is booking this place with Steinway B211 lol so of course will join and test again what happens after like half a year away from this lovely piano! But suddenly got diarrhea :(

So you would hear that I am slowly awakening as the piece progresses. lol
i had a pinch of Himalayan salt candy and skipped dinner before i approach this piece.
And my jumpy brain is saying let's add some more orchestra parts in spontaneously. so there was some improv. lol
Afterwards I also thundered the piano with some waterfall etude and Grieg's piano concerto as well which sound wonderful and very different level in sounding.

Some inspirations:
you don't really need any crazy force to make the piano sing, especially on the execution waterfall etude. It suddenly becomes so effortless when executing on this lovely instrument. Let the piano do its wonders for you. And on the Grieg concerto, the opening of course it sounds thunderous, but actually no force needed. Now I would be very excited to re-work my Grieg from ages ago. Because I used the same tactic before but didn't work so I thought I went to the wrong direction.
on-stage experience is really necessary in order to sound like a pro. but obviously it also takes lots of resources and opportunities.
unprepared performances like this gave me confidence that even when I am not in a good shape, I can still give minimum output :)
warmup helps. no warmup prepared in this take though, time limit. sorry :P
now of course still need to work a lot on the basic techniques. lousy techniques i have still :')

And another downside for this place is the aircon. Feels really too WARMMMM. my shirt got soaked up after playing. half the time i was thinking like 'hot, hot, hot, hot, HOT'. but i survived the heat :)

Now, if only I can find a model D somewhere to test my rach out. Would someone be happy to lend me one? :P
