Colorized with a short bio on Mary Kornman at end of the video. She was the “leading lady” in the original #OurGang comedies.
Synopsis: David Worth travels deep into Africa to find his childhood friend Joan Lawrence, who disappeared in a hot air balloon as a child while the pair were on an expedition searching for radium deposits. Unknown to David, she was discovered by an African tribe and became their queen.
Note: For financial reasons, most of the action footage in this serial came from the 1922 silent serial The #JungleGoddess for financial reasons, and the same script was used.
