On Thursday, January 30th, 2025, the Latvian military signed a 373 million euro contract to procure 42 “ASCOD” infantry fighting vehicles. This tracked platform is produced by Spain-based General Dynamics European Land Systems and was a BIT of a surprise winner, with some expecting the CV90 to be selected.
