Lazy Jones was also released for the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Tatung Einstein. The Spectrum version was ported by Simon Cobb.
The "Jay Walk" mini-game from the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum versions were replaced with the "Wafers II" mini-game in the MSX and Tatung Einstein versions.
One of the tracks of Lazy Jones' soundtrack was sampled by German electro project Zombie Nation for their 1999 hit single "Kernkraft 400". Florian Senfter later paid an undisclosed sum to David Whittaker for the use of the melody.
