Thrive Up North The Klockow Family

Meet the Klockow Family! Tasha is from Itasca County, growing up in Warba! Tasha moved down to the metro in order to be closer to Andy while he was working at Guitar Center and homebrewing! During their time in Lino Lakes, Andy started brewing at Hammerheart Brewery. They'd come home to visit Tasha's family often and saw the opportunity to open a brewery in Grand Rapids. We are lucky they did! Since moving back to the area, Tasha and her husband Andy have created a craft beer staple to our community, Klockow Brewing Company.
Andy says he loves the idea behind Grand Rapids and the "Little Big Town" feel! Their young daughter Leesie truly made herself right at home! She loves the parks and visiting the brewery. We hear she likes to pretend she's the boss! Tasha and Andy probably would tell you that she actually is the boss! Something Tasha really appreciates about our community is the "cultural oasis" that Itasca County has to offer. The Klockow's find strength in our community as we come together during tough times. They feel as though you cannot get much stronger than, "Itasca Strong." The lakes, woods, local parks and music culture really put the cherry on top for the Klockow family!
We are so thankful for their presence in Itasca County, and we know that like the Klockow's, you too can Thrive Up North!
