混進動物天堂

　　為什麼要去非洲，除了虛無縹緲的「存在」與「自由」外，那數不盡的動物，當然也是選項之一。
那一年轉了五班機、飛了四十二小時來到了南美洲的祕魯，又搭了十四小時的車翻越安地斯山，再坐三天的船，深入亞馬遜的內陸，原以為其生態豐富應該會有漫山遍野的原始生物，但不知是雨季來的緣故，植物長得太茂密，動物的保護色將自己隱藏得太好，我看到生物物種，並沒有想像中的多。在回程的路上，下定決心，下次要去最多動物的地方，不需要用望遠鏡就可以看得清楚，尤其是牛羚大遷徙，那千軍萬馬的氣勢，可不是想裝看不見就看不見的。

我要看獅子，不論是《獅子王》中的「辛巴」，或是《獅子與我》中的「艾莎」，還是《重逢，在世界盡頭》中的「克里斯汀」，在野放一年後，人獅重逢時，克里斯汀飛撲在主人身上，像貓咪一樣舔著，而主人也撥弄那一卷鬃毛，實在羨煞我，好想如法炮製。
就算是《察沃的食人魔》的殺人獅兄弟檔，還是《長草叢中的死亡》中的噬人獅，我都想見識一番。我不想每次到動物園，都只見到睡覺中一動也不動的獅子，我要活生生的獅子。

獵豹每秒可跑出三步，在三秒內加速到一百公里，是動物界的法拉利。和風速般的獵豹一起在非洲草原賽跑，是我心中的另一個夢，我是說「開著車」和獵豹一起跑。

還有一件我難以啟齒的事，我想跑給河馬追，我想知道河馬真有跑得如同數據般那麼快嗎？我實在很難想像牠跑起來，瞬間時速可以高達四十公里，速度不輸奧運選手。除非我親眼所見，為了驗證這一點，我決定跑給河馬追，看河馬是否真像傳說中，跑得像獵狗一樣快。

在走向非洲時，心中滿是狂想、妄想和許許多多的胡思亂想。不知狂想是否會實踐？實踐時是否又招架得住？那些胡思亂想是否會美夢成真？還是成為胡言亂語的痴人說夢呢？

Into the Animal Paradise

Why go to Africa? In addition to the illusory "existence" and "freedom", the countless animals are of course one of the options.
That year, I transferred five flights and flew 42 hours to Peru in South America. I took a 14-hour car to cross the Andes Mountains, and then took a boat for three days to go deep into the inland of the Amazon. I thought Its ecology is rich and there should be primitive creatures all over the mountains and plains, but I don’t know because of the rainy season, the plants grow too densely, and the animals’ protective colors hide themselves too well. I saw more biological species than I imagined. On the way back, I made up my mind to go to the place with the most animals next time. I don’t need a telescope to see clearly, especially the wildebeest migration. The momentum of thousands of troops is not just to pretend to be invisible.
I want to watch lions, whether it's "Simba" in "The Lion King", "Aisha" in "The Lion and Me", or "Christine" in "Reunion, At the End of the World". Years later, when the man-lion reunited, Christine swooped on her master and licked it like a cat, while the master fiddled with that curly mane. I really envied me and wanted to do the same.
Even if it's the murderous lion brother in "The Ogre of Tsavo", or the man-eating lion in "Death in the Long Grass", I want to see it. I don't want to see only sleeping lions every time I go to the zoo, I want living lions.
A cheetah can run three steps per second and accelerate to 100 kilometers in three seconds. It is the Ferrari of animals. Running with the wind-speed cheetahs in the African grasslands is another dream in my heart, I mean "driving" and running with cheetahs.

There is another thing that I can't tell. I want to run to the hippo. I want to know if the hippo really runs as fast as the data? It's really hard for me to imagine that it can run at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour in an instant, which is as fast as an Olympic athlete. Unless I saw it with my own eyes, in order to verify this, I decided to run to the hippopotamus to see if the hippopotamus really ran as fast as a hunting dog in the legend.
When I went to Africa, I was full of fantasies, delusions, and a lot of wild thoughts. I don't know if the wild fantasy will be practiced? Can you stand up to it in practice? Will those wild dreams come true? Or become a nonsense idiot's dream?
