The Hague - Museon

Museon in The Hague is an educative museum that focuses on the human being in nature and culture, contemporary themes and social and scientific developments.

The Museon collection includes some 260,000 pieces. They include rocks, fossils and minerals, the biology collection of stuffed animals, every aspect of flora and fauna from across the globe can be found here, even though the emphasis is on species from the Netherlands and its former colonies. The history collection is extremely wide and diversifies to include archaeology, prehistory, education and parenting, and the Second World War. The Physics and Technology collection boasts around eight thousand objects. This is a fantastic museum for activities.
