It was a short and scenic drive from Ceres to Wolseley. After exploring the town for a while, we found the Wolseley Hotel, but it was closed, so we stopped at the old station to see what it looked like. Hungry and looking for a good meal, we were told about Die Boord Restaurant and it was the perfect choice. The setting was truly beautiful. We couldn’t resist making a stop at the historic blockhouses and the steel railway bridges just outside of town. Along the way, we also spotted the Lotus factory and visited Adene's Farm Flowers. One of the biggest highlights of our visit was learning that Wolseley is one of only two towns in the world situated on a watershed and this one being in the Western Cape of South Africa. That made the visit feel especially unique.
