Welcome to a new and short restoration. Today we have this vintage Stanley No: 25C flat-head screwdriver with beechwood handle and approx 16” long. It was in a bad condition, I didn't know that was a Stanley until sandblasting. I tried to file the scratches and to clean it as much I can, they were quite deep. I have strengthened the tip as it was round and cleaned the black paint remaining on the handle and used black beeswax as finish. Should I have painted it again black?
