Another round of deadly violence played out on the streets of Vieux Fort in broad daylight on whit Monday.
The latest incident follows threats made on social media, in which young men stated their thinly-veiled threats on the lives of specific members of the community.
Monday’s shooting comes against the back-drop of calls from senior members of the Vieux Fort community, among them - the mayor and the parliamentary representative for Vieux Fort south, dr. Kenny Anthony, for action to be taken to address the violence.
