XGT® and LXT® Couple Shaft Power Heads

Landscapers are demanding more cordless alternatives to gas-powered outdoor power equipment. Makita is meeting demand with Couple Shaft Power Heads on the XGT® and the LXT® platforms.

There are actually three separate models to choose from: the 18V LXT® Brushless Couple Shaft Power Head (XUX02) is both lighter in weight and ergonomic, the 36V (18V X2) LXT® Brushless Couple Shaft Power Head (XUX01) delivers the power of a 25cc gas equivalent and the 40V max XGT® Brushless Couple Shaft Power Head (GUX01) delivers the power of a 30cc gas equivalent couple shaft power head.

Both the XGT® and the LXT® Couple Shaft Power Heads utilize a lever-style lock system for tool-less installation and replacement of 18 attachments. The attachments install quickly and easily allowing the user to tackle cutting, trimming, edging, cultivating, clean-up applications and so much more.
